With the help of the Chief Sales Officer and Junior Business Developers, your role will be to identify, develop and close new business opportunities within the Paygo Software space.● Understand client requirements and create need for the Paygo SaaS Solutions● Generate, Explore and develop new business sales● Maintain a solid opportunity pipeline● Meet clients and conduct product demonstrations● Represent the company at networking off-grid events● Excellent communication skills● Strong presentation and negotiations experience● Excellent technical IT aptitude and a fast learner!● Consultative, friendly yet focused "Solution Selling" approach: true trusted advisor approach● Process, data driven sales operations background and building track-able, repeatable sales processes● Ability to talk confidently to CEO, CTO, CIO, and Operations Managers about high level IT solution and technical concepts● Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new contacts● Co-design sales strategies and tactics to achieve quarterly targets● Build and lead a team of business developers in executing the plans previously designed Candidate profile:● Strong notions or previous experiences in a SaaS related industry appreciated.● Good understanding of the Off-grid / Solar Home System / Pay-As-You-Go industry is appreciated. If you have been involved as a senior staff of a DESCO company this is a serious plus.● Demonstrates ability to convince, engage and follow up on conversations with potential customers and partners.● Entrepreneurial mind-set, not afraid to take initiatives or make proposals and then see them through to completion.● Enthusiastic, self-motivated and passionate about developing world projects and social business.● A strong desire to take on further responsibility/leadership and join senior management● Ability to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations.● Experience utilising CRM systems and marketing automation systems (such as salesforce, mailchimp, etc.).● Is eager to discover new cultures and ways of working.● Willingness to travel and spend extended periods away from home. While also being free to work from home otherwise.● Proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance objectives (revenue targets, pipeline targets, etc.).● Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and challenging workload.● Has native/fluent proficiency in English and good notions of French. Compensation and details:●Start date:June/July 2021.●Duration:Permanent/Long term.●Location:Preferably based on the African continent. Possible from anywhere if you are in a home office / remote setting (as long as your working habits can match a Central European Time Zone) with easy access to West or East Africa.● All business-related expenses paid.● Special traveling allowance to go meet your colleagues wherever they work from.
