You'll attract candidates by drafting advertising copy for use in a range of media, as well as by networking, headhunting and through referrals. You'll screen candidates, interview them, run background checks and finally match them to clients. You are expected to use your network, business skills, consulting knowledge and operational expertise combined with deep user and market understanding to build the Brand and business and exceed set goals and targets.Reporting into:Recruitment ManagerKey ResponsibilitiesAssisting the Recruitment team in Building relationships with clientsAssisting in Headhunting – identifying and approaching suitable candidatesReceiving and reviewing applications, Assisting in managing interviews and short-listing candidatesAssist in Requesting references and checking the suitability of applicants before submitting their details to the employerBriefing the candidate about the responsibilities, salary and benefits of the job in question;Organizing interviews for the candidate as requested by the clientInforming candidates about the results of their interviewsCreation of presentations when required Interview people looking for work, record relevant personal and work details to match them with appropriate jobsReceive and record job vacancy information from employersOrganize advertising, interviewing and selection processes for recruitment campaignsConduct and analyze psychometric testsInterview job seekers and prepare shortlists of candidates for referral to prospective employersCheck references and suitability of applicants before referring to employersPrepare resumes and correspondence for suitable applicants to forward to employersAdvise job seekers regarding a personal presentation at interviews and about their written applications and resumesArrange appropriate training in job skillsAssist with sales and marketing duties designed to increase the client base, including visiting employers to assess working conditions and discuss consultancy services and feesObserve jobs to obtain information about job requirementsPrepare job descriptions and letters of appointmentKey RelationshipsRecruitment Manager in the countryCEO in-countryRecruiters in AfricaSales/BD TeamKPIs to measure success.Compliance to service delivery standards and processes - resourcing process (end to end) as well as procedures and operating modelSuccessful placements and increased revenueService turnaround time and qualityCommunication to the different stakeholders internally and externallyAdhere to the CRM PolicyQualifications and experienceHigher Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Human Resource ManagementMinimum 3 years of experience working as a recruiter in a busy recruitment firmGood communication and presentation skills.Honest, high integrity and transparency.A person with a pleasant attitude and abilityQuick learner with exceptional organizational skills
