We partner with local women (“Mamapreneurs”) to start or grow their own childcare centres through a social franchising approach. You will be situated within Kidogo’s Partnerships department.RESPONSIBILITIES• Managing strategic partnerships with partners and secure long-term partnerships.• Drive the development of Partnerships’ strategy and key assets (“plug & play solution”) and drive towards achieving set targets at scale.• Establishing and maintaining close working relationships with all levels of National and County governments and taking lead in high level strategic discussions.• Lead Kidogo’s advocacy efforts to establish Kidogo as a thought-partner within Kenya• Analyze policy framework and proactively identify key policy risks and opportunities and support Kidogo to respond accordingly.• Working with the Leadership teams and understand their government-related challenges so as to formulate a cohesive, comprehensive government relations strategy.• Designing and managing the department's operational expenditure.• Represent Kidogo on key policy/advocacy issues in appropriate forums• Mentor a young, driven and growing team.ATTRIBUTES OF A SUCCESSFUL PARTNERSHIPS & ADVOCACY MANAGER• Do-er: You are efficient, organized and use your time effectively.
