Job Description/RequirementsGENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION.The Duties and Responsibilities of the teachers will include but not limited to:• Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences• Develop schemes of work and lesson plans• Prepare classroom for class activities & be able to use relevant technology to support instruction• Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment• Observe and evaluate student's performance and development• Assign and grade class work, homework, tests and assignments• Prepare required reports on students and activities• Perform certain pastoral duties including student support, counselling students with academic problems and providing student encouragemen• Participate in extracurricular activities such as social activities, sporting activities, clubs and student organizations• Participate in department, school meetings, parent meetings and scheduled trainings• Keep updated with developments in subject area, teaching resources and methods and make relevant changes to instructional plans and activitie• Communicating, consulting and co-operating with other members of the school staff, including those having posts of special responsibility and parents/guardians to ensure the best interest of students• Any other duty assigned by the supervisorQUALIFICATIONS.• Diploma / Bachelor of Education from a recognized college or university in1. Maths /Chemistry.2. Geography/ History.• Two or more years of experience• Fluent in English and Swahili• Well developed and mature professional interpersonal skills; ability to interact with children teenagers, colleagues at all organizational levels.• Familiar with different pedagogies of teaching.• Patient, innovative and knowledgeable of classroom management and student discipline• Tutoring experience• Dedicated and God fearing Christian• Assertive discipline competentSuitable and qualified individuals should send CV and Cover letter detailing suitability for the job on or before30th June, 2021.
