Job Description/RequirementsRole PurposeReleasetrain Engineer in financial Services to establish, develop and lead thedelivery capability for multiple M-Pesa Services and Technologyprojects. Development of the Business Payments Agile Release Train (ART)and of essential trusted delivery partnerships and guidance for M-PesaAfrica (MPA) markets. Guiding market resources through their engagementfor delivery of new services and partner integrations. Guidance ofin-market resources to ensure synergies remain strong between MPA,markets, and partners. Development of Release Train performance andthrough continuous coaching and continuous improvement of MPA’s projectdelivery metrics, particularly Time to Market.Therole will drive efficiency through the 9 squads in the Business Payment(BP) area and additionally lead the newly formed International MoneyTransfer (IMT) squad to provide financial service products and enablersfor merchants and consumers. The scope will support a full range ofM-Pesa services including in-market pilots, innovations, and matureproduct enhancements.Key Role ResponsibilitiesAs an experienced professional in Agile Project Delivery you’ll Provide:AgileRelease Train and program leadership, performance in driving productfeatures to implementation through SAFe (ambitious and competitive).Consistentlyproductive operation in a multinational environment with localExecutive Management, showing excellent communication and coachingskills, tact, and diplomacy (one company & local roots).Time to Market for MPA products and Services.Release train performance – KPIs including Velocity, Committed work completion, Technical debt.Riskvalue reduction and dependency management through influencing multiple-stakeholder’s performance within the ART or program.Continued focus on Simplicity and Speed to reduce project transfer time to Operations.Integrity and openness to build trust and be trusted across different cultures.
