Job Description/RequirementsOur manager will be responsible for ensuring a safe and suitable working environment for our staff, students and guests. Opportunities include involvement in future building projects on-site, including a pavilion and innovative environmental support solutions.Duties will include:• Ensuring our facilities meet health and safety requirements and comply with all legislation• Managing building and grounds maintenance• Directing the procurement of materials and contract management for ongoing building projects• Managing 24-hour security systems and protocols• Developing strategic plans to ensure space needs are met effectively• Researching trends and solutions in facilities design and management• Supervising and managing a support staff of grounds crew, security personnel, and housekeeping staff• Committee participation with periodic reports, evaluation and updates on areas under management• Management of student transportation via bus routes to and from school• Maintenance and acquisition of support vehicles for the school• In charge of all logisticsDesired personals traits:• Relationship-building and networking skills• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and set target goals• Efficient time management• Research skills• Team working and an ability to lead and motivate• Working knowledge of various trade skills (masonry, carpentry, painting, etc.)• A flexible and innovative work style• Previous experience will be an added advantage
